Job Overview

The Data Engineering team at arenaflex is responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data pipelines, databases, and data systems that support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, databases, and data systems that support business decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, design data pipelines, and develop data systems
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data validation processes, and data quality checks
  • Optimize data processing workflows, ensuring data quality, and scalability
  • Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud-based platforms
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows, using tools like Apache Airflow or similar workflow management systems
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy data models and algorithms

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance
  • Proven expertise in Python and SQL (preferably with Snowflake)
  • Experience with developing in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP practices for code management/development
  • Experience with creating and maintaining automated work schedulers
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and functionality

  • Proficiency in cloud architecture and product offerings, preferably AWS
