Virtual Life Insurance Agent. Build Your Own Agency. 100% Remote
The Gainey Agency seeks a dedicated Virtual Life Insurance Agent to deliver consultative life insurance sales and comprehensive policy servicing in a 100% remote capacity. This commission-based opportunity provides a structured pathway to develop and lead an independent book of business and to build your own agency through recruiting, mentoring, and expanding a team of licensed producers.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct virtual, consultative needs assessments and present life insurance solutions tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Manage the full policy lifecycle, including preparing and submitting applications, coordinating underwriting requirements, processing endorsements and policy changes, and assisting with claim inquiries.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the company CRM and ensure timely follow-up on leads, applications, and service requests.
• Deliver high-quality client service via phone, email, and virtual meetings to foster long-term client relationships and maximize retention.
• Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and leadership to resolve client issues and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Develop a personal production plan with measurable targets; meet or exceed performance objectives for sales, client satisfaction, and retention.
• Pursue agency growth by recruiting, training, and mentoring other agents; implement best practices to scale a team and expand market reach.
• Participate in ongoing training, licensing education, and quality assurance activities to maintain current product knowledge and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional client-service orientation.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize competing tasks.
• Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms, CRM systems, and standard office software.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain applicable life insurance licenses; licensing support and training will be provided as needed.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and company compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in life insurance sales, financial services, or remote client-facing roles.
• Demonstrated success meeting sales targets and building client portfolios.
• Experience recruiting, training, or managing other sales professionals.
