Contract Virtual CISO with CMMC Expertise Needed
We are seeking a contract vCISO to support delivery for defense contractors pursuing CMMC Level 2 readiness (10–200 employees).
Scope:
Lead a 4-week readiness “mini assessment”: CUI boundary support, evidence requests, validate evidence against intent, build/prioritize POA&M, executive readout
Support ongoing vCISO retainers (governance cadence, stakeholder sessions, progress tracking)
Operate within our process/tools
Requirements:
Proven experience leading CMMC L2 / NIST 8xx-171 readiness end-to-end
Strong boundary/evidence/POA&M discipline and ability to manage stakeholders/MSPs
