Interior Designer — Full Design + Renders for 4 Rooms
Hi! I’m looking for an experienced residential interior designer to help me design and execute updates for four spaces in my home:
1. Bedroom
2. Dining room / transition into living room and kitchen (flow + cohesion matter here)
3. Office
4. Guest bathroom
I already have ideas and practical needs, but I want a professional to turn those into a cohesive plan with smart layout choices, a clear style direction, high-quality renders, and a detailed shopping list with items I can buy in the United States to implement the design.
What I’m looking for
This is not just “pick pretty decor.” I want someone who can think through:
• Layout and proportions (what fits, what doesn’t, and why)
• Practicality (traffic flow, comfort, storage, lighting, maintenance)
• Cohesive style across spaces (or a deliberate plan if rooms differ)
• Implementation details (what to buy, sizing, alternates, and sequencing)
What I will provide
• Photos of each space + a short walkthrough video
• Rough measurements (and I can measure specific items on request)
• My inspiration images/links + notes on likes/dislikes
• Constraints (what must stay, what must go)
• Budget range guidance per room (or overall)
What I need from you (scope)
Phase 1 — Direction & Layout
• Quick intake call or message-based questionnaire (your choice)
• 1–2 design directions with mood boards for an aligned aesthetic
• Suggested layouts (furniture placement + key dimensions/clearances)
Phase 2 — Design Development
For each room:
• Color palette + material recommendations (paint, finishes, textiles, etc.)
• Furniture/fixture suggestions and styling approach (lighting, rug sizing, art placement, etc.)
• Practical notes (storage, lighting layers, ergonomics in office, bathroom finishes that work)
Phase 3 — Visualization
• High-quality 3D renders
• Minimum: 2 views per space (bedroom, office, guest bath)
• For the dining/living transition: 2–3 views (since the “flow” matters)
• Renders should be clean and realistic enough to confidently buy items.
Phase 4 — Shopping + Implementation
• A US-based shopping list with direct links (e.g., Wayfair, West Elm, CB2, Article, IKEA, Amazon, Home Depot/Lowe’s, etc.)
• Include for each item: price, dimensions, color/finish, quantity, and why you chose it
• Provide at least one alternate for major pieces (e.g., sofa/dining table/bed/vanity lighting) in case of stock issues
• Step-by-step implementation notes (what to buy first, install order, any “watch-outs”)
Deliverables (what you’ll hand over)
• 3D renders (PNG/JPG)
• A PDF “mini design packet” (mood boards, layout notes, palette, key decisions)
• Shopping list (Google Sheet / Excel) with links + specs
• Optional (nice-to-have): the SketchUp/3D model file
Timeline
I’d like to complete the project in 2–4 weeks, with clear checkpoints:
1. Concept direction approved
2. Layout approved
3. Renders + shopping list delivered
4. One revision round polish
Please include your estimated timeline and how many revision rounds you include.
Budget
Open to fixed-price or hourly, but I strongly prefer a fixed package price for all four spaces (with clear deliverables).
Please propose:
• Total cost + what’s included (number of renders/views, revision rounds)
• Any optional add-ons (extra views, lighting plan, etc.)
Attached are older photos of all spaces (with exception of office) to give idea of project scope/complexity.
Required experience
Please apply only if you can do most of the following:
• Residential interior design with real, implementable results
• Strong space planning and proportions (not just decor)
• 3D renders that clearly show materials and lighting
• Product sourcing with US-available items + correct sizing/specs
How to apply (important)
Include:
1. A portfolio link (renders + real-world execution preferred)
2. 2–3 relevant projects (bedroom/office/bath/combined living areas)
3. What software you use (SketchUp, Revit, Blender, 3ds Max, etc.)
4. Confirmation whether you can provide a US shopping list with links when possible + dimensions and custom order specifications when necessary
5. Your proposed approach + timeline
