Summer Intern, Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising

About the position e.l.f. Beauty is seeking a Summer Intern, Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising to support our Visual Merchandising and Design team in creating retail displays and graphics that shoppers see in stores. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role where you’ll assist with design tasks, organize creative assets, and help move projects forward on tight timelines—gaining real exposure to retail design execution. Responsibilities • Assist with creating and updating store display graphics and retail layouts • Help organize design files, maintain archives, and keep project documentation tidy • Learn how to read basic retail plans, including planograms, dielines, and product layouts • Support simple production tasks such as trimming, cutting, comping, and mockups • Communicate with team members to track progress and meet deadlines • Work both independently and collaboratively to complete assigned tasks Requirements • Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship • Must be available for the full internship period: June 1st - August 28th • Available for in-office work at least three days per week • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Acrobat • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially for tracking and communication • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Effective time management with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset Nice-to-haves • SketchUp or basic 3D experience • Previous exposure to retail design, beauty, fashion, or wellness • Experience reading planograms or working with store layouts • A small portfolio showcasing retail, environmental, or graphic design work Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
