Responsibilities Subedit high-quality content across multiple formats—digital articles, country reports, newsletters, white papers, newsletters, policy research and insights, data visualisation, custom storytelling and more Ensure grammatical and factual accuracy, tonal precision and stylistic consistency in text and graphics, in line with The Economist Group’s editorial standards, and uphold the clarity and authority synonymous with The Economist brand Collaborate with editors and writers to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality Adapt to evolving audience needs, technologies and editorial platforms Who you are A heightened sense of curiosity and critical thinking to analyse and question ambiguous or dubious content Comfortable using editorial tooling aids An interest in current affairs, economics or politics Able to juggle conflicting demands Highly articulate in British English and preferably one other language #LI-Hybrid Working Arrangements The majority of our roles operate on a hybrid working pattern, with 3+ days office attendance required.
