Your Opportunity As a contract writer/editor your primary responsibilities will be to develop and maintain evidence-based clinical content within the pediatric nursing practice area. You will accomplish this by reviewing evidence-based clinical resources, synthesizing content, and translating them into clinical recommendations for online and mobile point-of-care practice tools. This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories). Responsibilities • Work closely with a Section Editor and Clinical Editors to develop and maintain evidence-based clinical content using standardized templates • Develop and maintain related Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) content Requirements • 5+ years’ clinical experience in pediatric nursing • Degree in the practice area (e.g., BSN) Nice-to-haves • Specialty certifications and a master’s or terminal degree in a health-related field highly preferred • Excellent clinical writing and editing skills • Strong critical thinking skills • Ability to translate research evidence into clinical recommendations in standardized templates for online and mobile point-of-care practice tools • Knowledge of evidence-based practice principles and familiarity with healthcare resources (including organizational guidelines) • Proficiency with and access to MS Office including WORD, including “track changes” Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
