Group Benefit Solutions (GBS) SS&M - Marketing Summer Intern

Join New York Life’s Group Benefit Solutions Marketing team as a hybrid intern, gaining hands-on experience in digital marketing, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Help lead day-to-day project management for the website refresh initiative • Collaborate with internal marketing team members and NYL.com partners to ensure project milestones are met • Assist in development of engaging social media content that aligns with our brand voice and target audience needs • Support marketing campaigns from concept through execution • Assist with additional marketing projects and initiatives as business needs arise About You The company is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented student with an interest in marketing who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn about the insurance and financial services industry. What you'll need: • Must be a rising junior pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities • Collaborative approach with experience working effectively in team environments • Interest in digital marketing, web development, and user experience design • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits • Salary range: $21 per hour • Overtime eligible: Nonexempt • Discretionary bonus eligible • Sales bonus not eligible • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program Training & Development The internship provides exposure to different areas of expertise, hands-on work experience, team-building activities, mentorship programs, and social events to develop and expand professional skills.
