[HIRING] Illustrator for “Chalkboard Deli” Card Game — 30-Card Kickstarter Hero Set ($1,500–$2,000)
Hi! I’m hiring an illustrator to create a Kickstarter-ready “hero set” of 30 finished card illustrations for an original tabletop card game.
Style / tone: cozy chalkboard deli / café vibe — dark slate backgrounds, chalk borders/lettering accents, warm hand-rendered food illustrations, and a few cute “chaos” cards (mischievous, not scary). This is a continuation project: some artwork exists and new cards should feel cohesive with the established look (not necessarily pixel-perfect mimicry).
Scope (Hero Set):
30 cards total
Mostly ingredient-style cards + a handful of special/character cards
Print-ready exports (300 DPI, bleed-aware). Source files preferred if you can provide them.
Workflow: 2 paid test cards first (1 ingredient + 1 special), then milestones (5–10 cards per batch)
Budget: $1,500–$2,000 total for the hero set (please quote per ingredient vs per special card, if you price that way)
