This role will be a strategic thought leader for key Strategic Partnership & On-Premise (SPOP) customers, leading marketing strategies and solutions to drive value, build brand love, increase beverage incidence, and profitability for these partners.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the annual joint business planning process, development of growth strategies, innovation, media, and digital programming. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the development and implementation of total beverage marketing strategies founded on the overall customer strategy, fully leveraging national marketing initiatives.
- Constructing and delivering annual marketing calendars that shape and contribute to the customer's long-term planning process, as well as conducting customer marketing stewardship reviews.
- Seeking out and leveraging national marketing initiatives, brand ideas/thinking, consumer insights, and internal tools/resources to support customer strategies and drive increased consumer preference.
- Developing long-term customer partnerships with ownership of senior-level marketing relationships.
- Championing for both customer and arenaflex imperatives internally and externally to deliver on our Growth Promise in all areas.
- Closely partnering with Sales and Operations cross-functional teams to drive the partnership and business.
- Presenting "What" (Consumer and Industry Insights that put things into context), "So What" (what it means to the customer brand & category), and "Now What" (recommendations on how to apply to customers' business) to deliver persuasive selling stories.
- Identifying and leveraging customer-specific, and channel marketing opportunities through prioritizing and capitalizing on channel, customer, and shopper insights and linking to brand strategy.
- Providing customer business and opportunity assessments, which include competitive analysis and recommendations for future expansion and market integration.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent education.
- 5-10 years of business development experience in a consumer-packaged goods company, agency, or foodservice operator, preferably in both customer management and marketing roles or equivalent marketing leadership experience within the industry.
- Ability to recognize, understand, and interpret consumer behavior, brand strategies, channel, and customer needs while turning this knowledge into action and results.
- Advanced Strategic Thinking & Application, Insights/Inspiration to Action, Category Innovation, Digital Ecosystem, CBP/Long Range Indispensable Value, Effective Storytelling, Agency Management, and Media Planning skills.
- Demonstrated personal leadership skills and ability to influence.
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements
While not essential, the following qualifications and requirements are preferred:
- Experience in managing relationships with brands, R&D, commercialization, assets, and other internal and external partners to support customer strategies throughout the year.
- Knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights that inform marketing strategies.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
