Payroll and Benefits Associate
Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is one of Canada’s top performing asset managers, seeking a Payroll and Benefits Associate to join their Payroll Department. The role involves supporting payroll processing and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond to general payroll and benefits inquiries from employees
- Assist with payroll adjustments and updates in the payroll system
- Maintain and update employee benefit information on the benefits platform
- Support new hire onboarding for payroll and benefits forms
- Assist with enrollment and changes in benefit plans (health, dental, life insurance, etc.)
- Help reconcile benefit invoices and ensure accurate data flow between payroll and benefits
- Assist with basic reporting
- Provide backup support for payroll processing and year-end filings
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); ability to learn payroll/benefits systems
- 1-2 years of previous experience in payroll or benefits administration
- Experience with any payroll system would be an asset
- PCP certification or currently pursuing PCP designation is an asset
- Quick adaptor to change, including maintenance of social media platforms
