Graphic Designer

Bousfields Inc. is a collaborative consulting firm consisting of planners, urban designers, and community engagement specialists. They are seeking a Graphic Designer to assist in the preparation and development of graphical components for reports and promotional materials, while maintaining brand standards and collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, coordination, and development of graphical components of reports, proposals, and promotional materials
• Perform professional work related to a variety of projects
• Maintain brand standards for all reports, communications, and in-house materials by utilizing templates
• Extend conceptual designs provided by Design Managers and Senior Designers into design implementation
• Collaborate with internal clients, departments and/or other colleagues

Skills

• Minimum of one to two years' experience as a graphic designer
• Certification or degree in a relevant discipline and related experience
• Foundational knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, including formatting and layout skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with fundamental knowledge of basic tools
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills and graphic communication skills using a variety of media
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and excellent quality work is communicated through layout and the use of visuals
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment as needed
• Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail oriented and self-motivated with excellent organization skills
• SketchUp and/or AutoCAD experience is an asset
