Customer Success Manager
SKUsafe is a seed-stage SaaS startup focused on empowering consumers by providing compliance software for the food, beverage, and supplement industries. The Customer Success Manager will drive retention and expansion for SMB and Mid-Market customers, managing post-sale relationships and advocating for customer needs internally.
Responsibilities
- Driving retention and expansion across a book of SMB and Mid-Market customers, with a strong focus on renewals, upsells, and long-term account growth
- Owning the full post-sale relationship with your accounts, acting as a trusted partner to our clients, helping them navigate setup, solve problems, and unlock new value in the platform
- Leading renewal conversations and surfacing upsell opportunities through a deep understanding of each customer’s current needs and strategic growth goals
- Developing, implementing, and continuously refining scalable Customer Success SOPs that support customers through onboarding, adoption, and renewal
- Advocating for our customers internally, working directly with our product team to translate customer needs into roadmap priorities
Skills
- 1-3+ years of customer success, account management, or client services experience
- NYC-based and able to work 3-4 days per week in our Union Square Office
- Experience owning renewals and upsells
- Excellent communicator who can build trust with technical and non-technical users alike
- Enjoy owning onboarding, training, and driving adoption
- Energized by fast-paced startup environments and solving real customer problems
- Experience in food & beverage or CPG
- SaaS startup or zero-to-one team experience
- A personal or professional interest in food science or nutrition
