Member Service Agent
Deseret First Credit Union is recognized for its excellent workplace culture and is inviting applications for the Member Service Agent position. This role involves providing service to members by processing financial transactions and educating them on products and services through various communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Takes incoming calls from members to assist them with account needs and transactions
- Opens new accounts
- Processes checks
- Responds to members' e-mail and chat system inquiries
- Provides credit union products and services to existing members
Skills
- High school diploma or GED and six months of experience working with the general public required
- Previous phone experience is helpful
- Must be friendly, personable, professional, and service-oriented
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to change
- Microsoft Office Suite; strong ability to learn new software programs
- Spanish speaking is a plus
