Clinical Coding Analyst (Remote)
You will play a crucial role, partnering with specific clients to ensure precise and timely reviews of pre-bill charts. You'll focus on identifying revenue opportunities and compliance concerns using ICD-10-CM/PCS coding standards and AHA guidelines. Verbal insights on potential MS DRG recommendations and physician queries form a key part of your responsibilities, enhancing our clients' understanding before finalizing submissions. Your duties include updating work lists and data entries for MS DRG databases, composing detailed recommendations, and managing appeals for Medicare or third-party denials.
You'll also be involved in assessments related to 30-Day Readmissions and Mortality measures for Medicare cohorts. Maintaining current credentials, accessing secure IT systems, and collaborating through innovative tools like TruCode and CDocT will be expected. This position requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, independent working capability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
