Scope & Responsibilities
Lead regular, structured interviews and calls with the subject
Shape and write a compelling long-form memoir (estimated 70,000–85,000 words)
Develop narrative arc, structure, and pacing
Translate lived experience into a clear, engaging voice
Deliver drafts and revisions on a consistent, agreed-upon schedule
Qualifications
Proven experience ghostwriting memoirs or narrative nonfiction
Strong long-form writing and storytelling ability
Detail-oriented with excellent listening and synthesis skills
Reliable, organized, and able to maintain momentum over months
Creative collaborator who can help shape story, not just record it
