**Job Summary**
As an Online Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers through live chat software to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in real-time. You'll be responsible for managing multiple conversations simultaneously, staying calm under pressure, and consistently delivering exceptional customer service. **Responsibilities**
As an Online Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
* Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
* Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and meet their needs
* Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
* Promoting interest in client products and services
* Consistently achieving established standards of the position
* Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
* Providing administrative support to the customer service team
* May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:
* A strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
* PC keyboarding and internet experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
* An upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
* Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
* Ability to compose professional emails (a plus)
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
* Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications)
