[Remote] Sustainable Events Analyst - Golf

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. WM is North America's largest comprehensive waste management environmental solutions provider, and they are seeking a Sustainable Events Analyst to support sustainability projects and perform environmental assessments. The role involves conducting evaluations, generating reports, and implementing sustainable practices at events while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainability evaluations and solutions with a focus on materials management at events, greenhouse gas emissions, life cycle assessments,impact reduction strategies
• Support sustainability assessments and implementation programs. Support final reports, including environmental, social, and economic analysis
• Research and implement sustainable event management procedures and impact reduction strategies
• Support project managers with on-site program implementation at stadiums and events
• Integrate social sustainability priorities into emissions management strategies
• Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations
• Self-educate on current sustainability topics, issues, and trends
• Responsible for organizing and interpreting data
• Travel up to 50%

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Sustainability, or Business
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience
• 1 year of relevant work experience in project/business management. Environmental experience is required (in addition to education requirement)
