Senior Frontend Java Developer 12 Month Contract (Possible extension) Location: Remote (Client located in Pleasanton, CA) Work Shift: Monday through Friday (8:00AM – 5:00PM PST) • Must be able to work on W-2 basis • Must be local to the Mountain View, CA area JOB DESCRIPTION This global financial technology leader has an immediate long-term contract opportunity in Pleasanton, CA for a Senior Frontend Java Developer. This position requires working onsite Monday-Friday. Contract Duration: 6-12 Months The engineer will collaborate with product managers, and technical lead to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions within the DPC product area. The role requires proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and React/JavaScript, with experience across the full development lifecycle - from requirements gathering to CI/CD and cloud deployment. • Expert knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle, Security Compliance, and Agile methodology and considered a leading expert in Software Development. • Expert problem solver that is able to lead others to develop creative solutions. • Specialized technical expert with experience in developing and influencing teams that are cross-functional including internal and external stakeholders including senior levels. Skill Requirements Core Development: Java, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript Databases: Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL DevOps & Tools: GitHub, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines Cloud & Containers: Azure, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) Additional Experience: API integrations, data flow automation, and secure, high-performance coding practices This engineer will help accelerate delivery across several high-priority digital initiatives, ensuring we meet both our near-term deadlines and long-term scalability goals. Experience with Centric PLM, CLO and other PLM tools would be a plus. Expert problem solver that is able to lead others to develop creative solutions.
