Coordinator - Resource Management (CPA Firm)

They are seeking a Resource Management Coordinator to provide day-to-day support to the Firm’s scheduling department, including coordinating assignments and resolving scheduling conflicts.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Tax team member assignments for client engagements, balancing business needs, and team member availability
  • Collaborate with Tax partners and managers, and resource management team to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or capacity constraints
  • Assist in maintaining and analyzing scheduling reports, and coordinating appropriate staff reassignments as needed
  • Monitor and communicate staff’s unassigned time
  • Assist in preparing reports related to staffing, utilization, and other resource metrics
  • Provide support on special projects as needed

Skills

  • This role requires a minimum of two in-office days per week
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • 0 – 1 years' relevant experience or similar role preferred
  • Ability to coordinate and follow up on multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • Adept at navigating and adapting to different interpersonal dynamics
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team across all levels of the Firm
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to think creatively and propose effective alternative solutions
  • Capable of exercising discretion when handling confidential information
  • Exhibits a professional attitude and exercises sound judgment when handling confidential matters
  • 0 – 1 years' relevant experience or similar role preferred
  • Experience working in a Public Accounting or professional services firm preferred
  • Experience with ProStaff scheduling software preferred
