Part-Time Medical Content Reviewer Needed
About This Role
We're a 30+ year old cGMP-certified supplement manufacturer (Dr. Clark Store) seeking a licensed healthcare professional to review our website content for medical accuracy and Google compliance.
Your primary responsibility: Ensure all health-related content meets FDA regulations AND Google's E-E-A-T quality standards for YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) health content.

License must be verifiable and in good standing

Understanding of Google's E-E-A-T framework (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness)
Knowledge of YMYL content standards for health information
Excellent English writing and editing skills
Comfortable using Google Docs and PubMed
Preferred:
Experience reviewing health content for websites
Knowledge of FDA supplement regulations (21 CFR Part 111)
Familiarity with functional/integrative medicine
Scope of Work
Monthly Tasks (10-20 hours):

Review 8-15 product descriptions and blog posts monthly
Fact-check health claims against peer-reviewed research
Approve/edit content for medical accuracy
Add your credentials: "Reviewed by [Your Name, License]"
Citations & Research (25% of time)
Add citations to peer-reviewed sources (PubMed links)
Reference authoritative sources (NIH, Mayo Clinic, FDA)
Update outdated information with current research
Compliance & E-E-A-T Optimization (15% of time)
Ensure FDA-compliant disclaimers on all health content
Structure content to meet Google E-E-A-T standards
Maintain "Last reviewed: [date]" on all approved pages
Flag prohibited claims or compliance issues
Turnaround Time: 48-72 hours for routine content reviews
Why E-E-A-T & YMYL Matter
Google's algorithm specifically evaluates health content for:
Experience: Is this written by someone who actually knows supplements?
Expertise: Does the reviewer have medical credentials?
Authoritativeness: Is the site recognized as trustworthy?
Trust: Are there proper citations, disclaimers, and expert attribution?
Without proper E-E-A-T signals, health content gets buried in search results. Your role is to ensure every page demonstrates medical expertise and builds trust with both Google and readers.
