Discover your next career opportunity now! Position Overview: This position is for a Senior Platform Engineer. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members at ARKA. Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have a basic understanding of Kubernetes, AWS, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines. Candidates may be considered for sign on bonuses up to $35,000 consistent with skills and experience levels. We also offer generous relocation benefits for eligible candidates. This position is an on-site position located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Each ARKA location has wonderful attributes as described below. Required Qualifications: • BS in computer science or related engineering field • 5+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual or remote teams • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters • Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (ie. Argo CD) • Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc) • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows) • IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+) • Active TS/SCI security clearance with fully adjudicated Full Scope polygraph Preferred Qualifications: • Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology • Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration • Experience delivering microservices in Kubernetes-based systems • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) • Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar Location: Situated less than an hour outside of Philadelphia and hosting the largest mall on the east coast, King of Prussia offers the urban feel sought in the city, while also giving opportunities to experience the beauty and history found only in Pennsylvania.
