[Remote] Content Writer

The Content Writer I role involves creating, editing, and proofreading benefits-related content to enhance employee engagement and understanding of benefits programs.
Responsibilities
- Approach all work aligned with Businessolver’s mission, vision, values, and organizational goals, fostering a positive team environment and enhancing the customer experience
- Create, edit, and proofread content across various mediums such as benefit guides, email communications, home mailings, presentations, video scripts, and website content for a managed book of business
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all content
- Leverage discovery documentation and resources to produce impactful, tailored content that educates diverse employee demographics
- Maintain client-specific artifacts including project briefs, eligibility matrices, and content guidelines
- Adhere strictly to client style guides and communication standards in all writing projects
- Develop a thorough understanding of client health plans and benefits packages to ensure precise communication
- Implement best practices outlined by the Consumer Experience team, acting as a consultative partner to influence client adoption of these practices
- Utilize project management software to monitor and complete tasks within assigned deadlines
- Identify potential project risks, resolve issues proactively, and escalate concerns when necessary to ensure project success
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to SOPs and maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness
- Comply with all organizational policies and standards to uphold Businessolver’s integrity and reputation
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint
- 1-3 years of professional experience in journalism, content creation, or related fields
- Strong professional demeanor with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong collaboration and project management abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams including technical salespeople and executives
- Compelling portfolio of writing samples demonstrating versatility and quality
- Knowledge of AP and Chicago style writing guidelines
