[Remote] AU Dayshift - Remote Purchasing, Stock Control & Customer Service Officer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GetMyCourse is seeking a Purchasing, Stock Control & Customer Service Officer to support the business by ensuring timely purchasing, accurate stock control, and high-quality customer service. This role involves collaborating with various teams to maintain stock availability and provide efficient order processing and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Raise purchase orders in Odoo for customer orders and internal requirements
- Build and maintain a supplier database, including negotiating competitive pricing for bulk purchases
- Review and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
- Verify accuracy of supplier order confirmations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain and update purchase pricing in Odoo by extracting product data and updating pricing records in Microsoft Excel
- Expedite urgent purchase requirements by liaising directly with suppliers via phone or email
- Work closely with the Stores team to ensure purchase order receipting is completed by 3:00 PM daily
- Immediately notify the Customer Service team of any supply issues or delays to allow proactive customer communication
- Maintain accurate Reorder Point (ROP) and Min/Max stock levels for all stocked items
- Support accurate inventory control and stock availability across the business
- Enter and process sales orders in Odoo accurately and efficiently
- Contact customers to obtain additional information or clarify order details when required
- Answer incoming phone calls, including overflow calls, and provide professional customer support
- Ensure customer enquiries are handled promptly and accurately to maintain high service standards
