Summer 2026 Intern - Meshing (Bachelors)

Synopsys Inc is a leader in technology innovations that shape the way we live and connect. They are seeking a Summer 2026 Intern in Meshing who will perform software product testing, analyze requirements, and collaborate with developers to ensure software quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform software product testing and investigate possible causes of problems, following established development and testing processes
• Analyze requirements and develop tests for new features within the appropriate environment
• Create, update, and modify existing tests as necessary to ensure software quality
• Conduct functional, application, regression, and performance tests in manual and/or automated test environments
• Participate in code review and approval processes, collaborating with developers to resolve product defects
• Detect, document, and report software defects, and work with the team to identify resolutions

Skills

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Computer Engineering, or another engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Enrollment in a full-time degree program and intention to return to university after the internship
• Demonstrated computing skills, including knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and programming/scripting languages
• Ability to learn quickly, collaborate in geographically distributed teams, and communicate effectively (written and oral)
• Strong planning, problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented approach to work
• Experience with Python, C/C++ programming languages
• Familiarity with Ansys products and computer-aided software engineering tools
