[Remote] PRODUCT OPERATIONS AND R&D ASSOCIATE : SRI LANKA (REMOTE)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ekwa Marketing is a company focused on product management and research initiatives. The Product Operations & R&D Associate will support the team by conducting research, feasibility analysis, and managing product operations initiatives end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned R&D and product-operations initiatives end-to-end
• Conduct structured research and feasibility assessments for AI, automation, and service improvement ideas
• Translate ambiguous or loosely defined problems into clear assumptions, plans, and execution steps
• Evaluate initiatives across operational impact, scalability, risks, and dependencies
• Produce high-quality documentation, including research briefs, feasibility reports, SOPs, and summaries
• Coordinate pilots or proof-of-concepts with internal stakeholders
• Track outcomes against defined success criteria and document learnings
• Maintain accurate updates across PM tools and documentation systems (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp)
• Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and decisions clearly and proactively
• Contribute to improving internal frameworks, workflows, and evaluation criteria

Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in product operations, research, project management, business analysis, or a related role
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate feasibility and risks
• Ability to think through ambiguity and define structure where none exists
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional remote work
• Ability to produce clear, structured documentation (reports, SOPs, FAQs, summaries)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with PM or operations tools (e.g., ClickUp, Notion, Asana, or similar)
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar)
• Experience in service-based industries (digital marketing, healthcare services, SaaS)
• Prior remote work experience
• Exposure to AI, automation, or data-driven projects
