ANALYST I
Caltrans District 3 is part of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), a recognized leader in public service. They are seeking an Analyst I to assist in business process modernization, developing new policies, and improving customer service through expanded digital services.
Responsibilities
- Represent the division in developing new policies and responding to inquiries regarding potential policy changes to internal customers
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly data-reporting
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of program processes in collaboration with the branch team on projects related to divisional modernization efforts
- Conduct studies, establish baseline measures and formulate program alternatives related to the delivery of effective customer service, and improving operational consistency among production units
Skills
- Must indicate the Job Control/Code (JC) number and position number(s) in the application
- Must submit all items listed under Required Application Documents by the Final Filing Date
- Must have authorization to work in the United States
- Must be eligible for appointment (e.g., must take and pass examination)
- Background Investigation clearance required before hire
- Possession of the Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
- If using education to meet the minimum qualifications, include a copy of unofficial transcripts for verification
- Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date
- Initiative, excellent judgment, and ability to work independently and professionally
- Track record of maintaining accountability and confidentiality
- Excellent meeting facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
