Pricing Analyst

Zoro.com is a leading eCommerce platform offering nearly 12 million tools, parts, and supplies for business customers. The Pricing Analyst role is responsible for developing and optimizing pricing strategies to enhance profitability and competitiveness while working cross-functionally with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve models, scripts, and workflows that process and validate supplier pricing data
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of price updates and MAP compliance across all product categories
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve pricing issues and identify new opportunities
• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and automate pricing operations for efficiency and scalability
• Use strong communication skills to present findings and build support for pricing initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong technical proficiency with SQL and advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel, Google Sheets)
• Foundational experience with data visualization and business process optimization
• 0-2 year of pricing, operations, or data analytics experience
• Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using limited or imperfect data
• Experience improving or automating business processes in a fast-paced environment
