[Remote] IT Security Analyst

They are seeking an IT Security Analyst to monitor and maintain the security of internal systems, respond to security alerts, and conduct vulnerability assessments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the security of internal information systems, networks, and databases
• Respond promptly to security alerts and investigate incidents to ensure swift resolution
• Conduct vulnerability and threat assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Track and analyze key security performance metrics to improve security posture
• Assist in the development and management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Up to 3 years of experience in information technology with a focus on cybersecurity
• Knowledge of standard concepts and practices in system administration, including Windows Server and Active Directory
• Familiarity with network infrastructure concepts, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, SSCP, or GSEC
• Knowledge of cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST CSF
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex workloads and facilitate multiple activities autonomously
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and leadership skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
