[Remote] Associate Software Engineer

They are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to enhance and maintain existing software products, as well as develop new products, while collaborating with team members and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Implement all assigned tasks
- Will work within a team structure
- Collaborate with customer support to diagnose and resolve escalated requests, including participating in calls with customers
- Diagnose and fix assigned defects and enhancements within the assigned project
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Good communications skills both verbal and written
- The ability to collaborate and work with on team are necessary
- Some previous coding experience is necessary - either in an education or professional environment
- Relevant coursework or experience with IBM i, RPG, and/or CL preferred
- Relevant coursework or experience with Linux/Unix preferred
- Some knowledge and understanding of the Agile/Scrum Project development methodology preferred
