We have an opportunity for a Manager, Brand Publicity to join our Communications team! As a Manager, Brand Publicity, you will assist in the strategy, planning, and implementation of publicity programs for Hasbro’s well-known brands, including Hasbro Entertainment and Licensed Consumer Products. You will help increase media coverage, fan engagement, and event activations that place our brands at the heart of pop culture. This position offers an outstanding chance to develop the future of our iconic brands! Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI. Responsibilities • Partner with the Brand Publicity team to plan and complete publicity programs across multiple Hasbro brands, including support for Hasbro Entertainment properties and licensed consumer products business. • Develop and coordinate media strategies that drive quality coverage—from news announcements to global brand moments. • Support day-to-day communications efforts while keeping an eye on long-term brand storytelling and budget priorities. • Help plan and complete product launches, fan conventions, and brand experiences that bring our stories to life. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless, creative, and high-impact events. • Engage with fan communities and help build communication strategies that celebrate and grow our global fan base. • Support fan initiatives, influencer engagement, and community storytelling moments connected to Hasbro brands, entertainment, and licensed consumer products business. • Assist with product mailings, media tracking, and reporting on publicity performance. • Draft, edit, and route press materials to global partners and internal collaborators across Hasbro brands, entertainment, licensing, and brand partners. • Help ensure alignment across global and U.S. publicity priorities. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 3–5 years of experience in public relations—agency or in-house—with global or entertainment brand exposure preferred. • Strong understanding of modern media, fan culture, and the intersection of PR and social. • Experience supporting or leading brand or entertainment publicity campaigns. • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. • Creative approach with a passion for new ideas and storytelling. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, global environment. • Ability to travel up to 25%.
