Our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team is a critical part of this effort, providing essential support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. **Job Summary** As a Customer Support Associate in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of new patient medication orders and reorders. You will be responsible for verifying and revivifying benefits, translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into our pharmacy information system, communicating with patients and internal partners to collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and resolve any issues that may arise. Your exceptional communication skills, combined with your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate with patients and internal partners to collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and resolve any issues that may arise * Work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations prior to fulfillment **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred * 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare or related field * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions * Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and pharmacy information systems **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a mail order pharmacy or specialty pharmacy environment * Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication therapy management and clinical services * Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field * Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and internal partners in multiple languages **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities * Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and pharmacy information systems * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills and careers.
