Job Overview

In this remote Customer Service Representative position, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls from government clients, addressing their queries, and providing timely resolutions. Your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will enable you to deliver high-quality support and ensure customer loyalty. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound calls from government clients, addressing their queries, and providing accurate information about our programs and services
  • Utilize online reference materials, scripts, and other resources to guide conversations and ensure consistency in messaging
  • Document details of conversations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer interactions
  • Meet department quality assurance standards and metrics, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
  • Educate and answer questions from customers, providing the most up-to-date information about our programs and services
  • Follow protocol and apply sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolutions

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that enable you to deliver exceptional customer service and support. The following requirements and qualifications are essential for this position:

Must Have (Required):

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications
  • Ability to pass language knowledge assessment, demonstrating strong communication and language skills
  • Strong internet connection, due to the remote nature of this role, with the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable and maintain a reliable and secure connection

Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Bilingual or Multilingual, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative, preferably in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Previously cleared for a Public Trust Entry of Duty Clearance Level (Government Clients Only), demonstrating a strong commitment to security and integrity
  • Licenses in Insurance, Healthcare, and/or Finance sectors, providing a strong foundation in industry-specific knowledge and regulations
  • Previous experience with FEMA Call Center, demonstrating a strong understanding of emergency management and response protocols

Compensation and Benefits
