Business Development Representative
Redgate Software creates simple software to help data professionals manage databases effectively. The Business Development Representative will generate high-quality sales opportunities, engage potential clients, and contribute to the sales pipeline's early stages.
Responsibilities
- Qualify opportunities with existing and new accounts via call, email, social media, and marketing contacts
- Manage ‘pool’ accounts and take control of prospecting, both within and outside provided cadences
- Conduct high-level conversations with technical and business decision-makers
- Research prospects, identify key contacts, and update Salesforce records
- Collaborate weekly with Account Executives for strategic planning
- Meet KPIs for high contact volume through calls and emails daily
- Achieve monthly quotas for outbound meetings generated for Account Executives
- Map prospective accounts' organizational structure, people, and existing technology
- Identify business pains, objectives, and impacts on prospects' organizations
- Collaborate with the Field Marketing team on customer needs, messaging, and ABM leads
Skills
- At least 1 year experience in outbound sales is desirable
- A genuine interest in technology and ability to learn and understand technical information
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to develop and repurpose sales and marketing copy and articulate key business drivers to multiple personas
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Experience in using CRM Software would be beneficial
