Interior Designer I – Saint Paul (1-5 Years of Experience)

BWBR is a commercial architecture, interior design, and planning firm focused on creating thoughtful, functional, and innovative environments. They are seeking an early-career Interior Designer with 1-5 years of professional experience to join their collaborative design team, assisting with the development of design concepts and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of interior design concepts, space planning, and design presentations
• Support the selection and specification of finishes, furniture, and materials
• Produce presentation materials, including renderings, mood boards, and graphics
• Participate in meetings, design reviews, and internal quality assurance efforts
• Work with a team to prepare design documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Coordinate with internal project teams as well as external consultants and product reps
• Assist with construction administration tasks such as submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to client and firm standards and deadlines

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program
• 1–5 years of professional experience in a commercial interior design or architecture firm
• Working knowledge of commercial building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards
• Proficient in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong design sensibility, graphic skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, proactive, and eager to learn
• Experience with Enscape a plus
