Job Summary As a Sr. Logistics Analyst - Last Mile Anticipating, you will be responsible for supporting last-mile delivery planning and carrier capacity management. Your primary goal will be to align carrier capacity with advanced transport-to-home demand plans and drive operational excellence through accurate package volume projections. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including functional teams, network planning and S&OP teams, carrier partners, and other HQ and field teams. This is a full-time remote job that requires 8 hours of work per day, and you will have the opportunity to work from home or another location that is not a Target store. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain accurate package volume projections down to the most granular level Analyze complex data sets to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes Collaborate with functional teams, network planning and S&OP teams, carrier partners, and other stakeholders to align carrier capacity with demand plans Drive operational excellence through process improvements and innovative solutions Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization software in a large-scale, complex business environment Experience working with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Hive Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Innovative approach to critical thinking and problem-solving Experience with forecasting and modeling Proven track record of taking ownership and driving business outcomes Ability to set goals and track progress Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree or MBA Experience in distribution or transportation Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions Strong business acumen and understanding of logistics and supply chain management Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Target, we are committed to developing and growing our employees.
