Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients, healthcare providers, and carriers, providing timely and effective resolutions to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding in every interaction, and ensuring that patients receive the support they need to access their medication.
  • Utilize computer skills for data entry, accurately and efficiently managing patient information, billing, and medical records.
  • Gather and review patient billing and medical information, working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues, escalating concerns as needed, and ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of recent call center experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active internet connection and a dedicated workspace at home, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task, using dual monitors and navigating multiple software systems with ease.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics, reading, and writing.
  • Must live in the Dallas/Irving area and be able to pick up equipment in Irving, TX, as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and billing processes.
  • Previous experience working with patients, healthcare providers, and carriers, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
