[Remote] Sr. Associate Consultant, Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages

They are seeking a Senior Associate Consultant to join their Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages team, focusing on research, financial modeling, and supporting expert consultants in various analyses related to insurance claims and commercial disputes. Responsibilities • Supporting the collation of research and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data • Communicate with client project liaison on a consistent basis • Provide collaboration on the production of Expert reports • Assist with building complex models to analyze economic and financial data using spreadsheets and databases • Strong and concise communication of analysis and work product as appropriate • Managing multiple tasks/ deadlines/ priorities simultaneously by using effective problem solving, creativity, research and other self-driven methods while also having confidence knowing when and how to ask for help. Asking for help is not only welcomed, it's required! • A positive and collaborative way of working, fostering good internal and external relationships whilst maintaining the confidential nature of client relationships and related work products Skills • Bachelor's or Advanced degrees in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics • 2+ years' professional experience in the following: • Experience with the analysis and calculation of damages in commercial disputes • Experience with insurance claims services • Analyzing delays, disruptions and cost overruns due to unforeseen events • Forensic and Investigation services • Experience and familiarity with managing multiple priorities simultaneously • A strong foundation of experience in data analytics; experience in SQL or other database management preferred but not required • Ability to communicate with team members, review and summarize documents appropriately for internal purposes Company Overview • HKA is a privately owned, independent provider of consulting business for the construction, manufacturing, and technology industries.
