[Remote] Junior Website Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bizango is a creative agency that specializes in custom website design for businesses and organizations. The Junior Website Project Manager will support the Senior PM and Creative Director, managing website projects from start to completion while coordinating between clients and the in-house team.

Responsibilities

• Manage website projects from start to completion as the front line coordinator between our business clients and our in-house team
• Follow our documented process to build project plans and schedules
• Directly manage client relationships; talk on the phone and email; plan and conduct client meetings; coordinate with clients and answer their questions via zoom and email
• Coordinate our team to help designers, strategists and developers deliver cohesive marketing websites on schedule
• Track details — you are the obsessively-organized member of the creative team who helps ensure we live up to the promises we make our clients and that we never drop a ball
• Help catch bugs and technical issues, and guide clients as they learn to use their new websites and software
• Share creative insights and help facilitate project conversations both internally and with clients, supported by the Senior PM and Creative Director
• Help improve our process — work closely with management to identify bottlenecks and issues and help us all get better at what we do
• Participate in internal and external project meetings, creative and technical. Schedule meetings. Document decisions. Create tasks. And follow up after the fact to ensure everyone delivers
• Assist in production of custom websites and campaigns. Spearhead the collection and organization of assets and content. Play a supporting creative role as projects come together. And sometimes, import content and assets to the website's CMS
• Meet frequently with Senior PM, Operations Director and Creative Director. Hone your skills. Immerse in best practices and on-the-ground techniques for marketing project and account management
• Help answer customer support tickets. Respond quickly to client queries. Follow up by wrangling internal creative and technical resources to get clients answers to their questions

Skills

• 1-2 years as either a project manager or in a marketing role
• Must be able to demonstrate a desire to grow in project management
• Some WordPress or Wix or SquareSpace or HTML or other website experience
• Other design or marketing experience
• Other client-facing or customer service experience
