Business Analyst

Helion is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to learn and grow their analytical skills while collaborating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
• Translate business needs into clear documentation, reports, and insights
• Assist in analyzing processes, workflows, and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Support project planning by helping define scope, timelines, and success metrics
• Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to internal teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, finance, and technology teams
• Help test solutions and validate that business requirements are met

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, operations, or similar role (internships count!)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with data in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics tools
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
• Prior experience supporting projects or process improvement initiatives
