Formerly known as Bethlehem Center of Charlotte, arenaflex underwent a rebranding in 2020 to reflect its expanded mission and vision. With a humble beginning in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Charlotte, arenaflex was founded by the United Methodist Women to offer much-needed childcare and support to mothers during WWII. Over the years, arenaflex has grown and evolved, expanding its services to 12 Center locations across Charlotte, serving over 800 families daily.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Online Chat Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As an Online Chat Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a positive, helpful attitude and approach, ensuring that allogle customers receive the best possible experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Attend all departmental meetings, company meetings, and in-services to stay updated on the latest developments and initiatives
  • Report to work daily and be ready to work at the scheduled start time, demonstrating punctuality and reliability
  • Perform any other duties that may be requested by supervisor or management, showcasing flexibility and adaptability
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on all products and services offered by arenaflex, enabling you to provide accurate and informative support to customers
  • Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment, contributing to a positive and healthy work atmosphere
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required, demonstrating a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Meet the minimum monthly goals, consistently delivering high-quality results and exceeding performance expectations
  • Work varying start times, including evenings and weekends, to ensure seamless coverage and support to customers
  • Utilize fundamental computer skills to navigate our systems and tools, providing efficient and effective support to customers

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple conversations simultaneously
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or certification in a related field preferred

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance goals
