About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Outreach Operations Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our global outreach team, you will play a critical role in mitigating harm and ensuring the well-being of our community by analyzing and addressing sensitive issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing effective communication strategies. Your expertise and passion for customer service, community engagement, and issue resolution will be essential in driving our efforts to create a safe and supportive environment for all users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert to cross-functional partners on product/policy changes, providing guidance and support on complex issues and fostering deep relationships with regional teams to ensure effective collaboration and counsel.
  • Develop and execute cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader Operations efforts and driving meaningful outcomes that promote community well-being and safety.
  • Identify workflow gaps and areas for improvement in our maker accelerations, working to de-escalate issues promptly and efficiently, and implementing process enhancements to ensure seamless operations.
  • Serve as an Incident Manager on select weekends, owning and resolving critical issues that require immediate attention, and providing expert support to our community during times of need.
  • Own and manage sensitive, high-stakes accelerations, conducting thorough investigations into maker/customer issues, and developing tailored communication strategies via email, social media, and phone to mitigate security and brand risks to arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical project management or customer-facing role, with a proven track record of success in issue resolution, community engagement, and team collaboration.
  • 4 years of experience working with incident response management, risk mitigation, or customer service, with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of community management.
  • 4 years of experience with acceleration management, executive communications, incident directing, and making time-critical decisions with incomplete data, demonstrating your ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate complex findings and strategies to technical staff, executive management, legal counsel, and internal and external clients, with clarity, precision, and effectiveness.
  • Capacity to advocate for maker policies that safeguard the arenaflex ecosystem and its employees, demonstrating a deep understanding of our community's needs and values.
  • Ability to work in and keep pace with a fast-paced environment via effective prioritization and time management, with a proven track record of adapting to changing needs and circumstances.
  • Ability to serve as an active incident manager in on-call rotations, over weekends, and adapt to rapidly changing needs in the arenaflex ecosystem, demonstrating your flexibility, resilience, and commitment to our community.
  • Excellent technical acumen and ability to absorb new information quickly, with a passion for learning and professional growth.
  • Outstanding time and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities, and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $106,000-$156,000, plus bonus, stock, and benefits. Our compensation is determined by job, level, and location, with a range that reflects the base and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations.
