Job Overview
This role is responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing high-value relationships that drive new product selection, competitive pricing, and convenience to our customers. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying product selection gaps and executing go-to-market strategies to attract key marketplace players to join our e-commerce platform and maximize our product selection and customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Growing a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global developments/activities, and continuously monitoring competitor efforts.
- Identifying, prospecting, and acquiring high-potential sellers to our platform via direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
- Guiding sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.
- Collaborating with and influencing internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor issues.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- 1-3 years of successful enterprise sales experience, preferably in the e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
- Demonstrated achievement in exceeding sales targets using a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience promoting new products/offering into new markets is strongly preferred.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills, a strong working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
- Remarkable business judgment with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
- Comfortable with complex financial data and polished communication skills, including speaking, writing, imparting, and negotiating.
- Ability to think and lead in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach to responsibilities and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
- 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
