[Remote] Senior Data Analyst (SQL. Power BI)

Our client, MphasiS Corporation USA, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst who will act as a data analyst with subject matter expertise related to advisory data and will be responsible for analyzing and defining data transformation requirements in collaboration with product managers and data architects. Responsibilities • Acts as a data analyst with subject matter expertise related to advisory data (e.g. Accounts, Positions, Transactions, Instruments, Proposal/Models, Portfolio Construction and Performance Reporting) • Analyzes, defines and prioritizes the data transformation requirements and functional or operational specifications in collaboration with to Wove product managers, data architects, data engineering, and data owners • Performs data mining and analysis to determine impact assessment • Develop and maintain data lineage documentation and mappings to support data governance, regulatory, compliance, and data lineage analysis activities Skills • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required • Typically requires 8-12 years of total work experience, preferably in securities or financial services • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management concepts, and regulatory requirements • Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure • You will have strong analytical skills, are familiar with Agile methodology and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution • Uses SQL or Python for data mining purposes to troubleshoot data conditions in relational databases • SQL Skills required 8-10 years data analysis querying skills/PL SQL skills/Big Data analysis • Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Mongdb, Colibra a plus Company Overview • Welcome to Jobs via Dice, the go-to destination for discovering the tech jobs you want.
