[Remote] Home Health Program Management Internship
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Northwell Health is a leading healthcare provider, and they are seeking a Home Health Program Management Intern. The intern will assist in data collection, studies on departmental efficiency, and the facilitation of new programs.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the department
- Assists in studies to objectivity ascertain the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of department or Hospital operations, policies and procedures
- Assists management in facilitating new programs and/or procedures
- Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program majoring in business, population health, community health or health sciences
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting
