[Remote] Mortgage Loan Originator

Axos Bank is a digital-first financial institution seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate high quality residential mortgages across the United States. The role involves analyzing financial statuses, consulting with customers, and managing leads to provide tailored mortgage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine preliminary home loan eligibility and recommends mortgage products that are within the customer's budget
• Consult with customers about current and future needs to help them achieve their financial goals while providing the best possible customer service
• Stay informed of available loan types and other financial services and products in order to better meet customers' needs. Identify and construct lending solutions based on unique homeownership goals
• Manage leads actively and meet minimum conversion (lead to fund) requirements and build a network of real estate agent partner

Skills

• HS Diploma
• Flexible and adaptable, learn and react quickly at a faster than average pace

• 1+ year's of retail lending
