[Remote] Director, Supplemental Accounts Underwriting

The Director of Supplemental Accounts in Underwriting will lead the voluntary benefits underwriting team to meet business targets while aligning with the company's mission of achieving financial well-being for customers. Responsibilities • Oversee a reporting structure of 1 people leader and their team plus 6-8 individual contributor underwriters • Partner with sales leadership and internal partners to build knowledge and capabilities around Supplemental Health products *(Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity)*, Life insurance offerings *(such as Group Whole Life, Group Universal Life, and Group Term Life to 100 with long-term care)*, as well as Cancer and Disability products, covering all service segments • Leverage your expertise to apply best underwriting guidelines, analyze and resolve complex issues, and improve on processes and procedures • Create a highly engaged work environment that focuses on continuous improvement and growth of underwriting talent and business acumen Skills • Bachelor's degree in business or related subject.
