Intern, Strategic Innovation - Summer 2026
Chiesi USA, Inc. is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing products for rare disease markets. They are seeking an intern for their Strategic Innovation team to support the scouting and evaluation of innovative therapeutic modalities.
Responsibilities
- Scout and screen relevant scientific information on new therapeutic opportunities for rare diseases and share findings with the team
- Document data in clustered spread sheets and constantly update them as new information becomes available
- Present data for review, group discussions, and team meetings
- Actively participate in recurring meetings with Strategic Innovation Unit team
Skills
- Currently pursuing a BS/BA in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Biologic Sciences with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or later
- Scientific research experience preferred
- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and evaluating scientific data
- Demonstrated proficiency in written, verbal, and face-to-face communication to effectively present information to and influence decision making of managers
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and multifunctional resources concurrently while maintaining high attention to detail while responding to rapidly changing priorities and aggressive deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and Adobe
- Scientific research experience preferred
