Pediatric Nurse

Position Title: Pediatric Private Duty Registered Nurse (PDN RN) Reports To: Supervisory RN / Administrator Employment Type: PRN | 1099 or W-2 (per agency model) Location: Client homes (Georgia) Position Summary The Pediatric Private Duty RN provides skilled, continuous nursing care to medically fragile pediatric clients in the home setting. This role requires advanced pediatric assessment, clinical judgment, and the ability to respond rapidly to changes in condition while working collaboratively with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pediatric nursing assessments Implement physician-ordered care plans Administer medications (including IV and enteral) Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator monitoring Manage G-tube/J-tube feedings and nutrition Monitor oxygen therapy and pulse oximetry Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions Educate families on care techniques and safety Accurately document all care per Medicaid/private pay standards Communicate changes in condition to the Supervisory RN and physician Maintain infection control and safety standards in the home Minimum Qualifications Active, unrestricted Georgia RN license Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience Current BLS (PALS strongly preferred) Experience with medically fragile children Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes Preferred Experience PICU / NICU / Pediatric Home Health Ventilator-dependent pediatric patients GAPP or Medicaid waiver experience Pay: From $40.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Professional development assistance Work Location: On the road Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
