Metadata Analyst ISD

Position: Metadata Analyst ISD 11876 Location: Fully Remote Contract Duration: 6+ Months Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Paid Holiday Pay: Up to $70/Hour Description: The Enterprise Metadata team is looking to add a Metadata Analyst. The Metadata Analyst will work on the Azure projects. The analyst will be creating/updating metadata on large data assets. The analyst will be working with multiple teams and several datasets to ensure all files and columns have metadata within the cloud. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand source systems and data assets. Work with business data owners, business data stewards, and technical data stewards to collect, review, and publish Metadata. Develop, maintain, and manage Data Catalog (e.g., arenaflex Purview) and Power BI Reports Evaluate and enhance the Data Governance & Metadata Collection Framework Provide updates on the daily stand up on work completed the day before and plan of work to be completed today. Qualifications and Skills: Eagerness to learn how data flows between sources, systems, and applications. Ability to analyze data and determine how the data can be used. 2+ years of data analysis experience; SQL preferred. 2+ years of arenaflex Office Suite Effective communication and collaboration skills Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
